Mischler Financial Group / Stamford Battalion salutes our Summer 2023 Internship Class for their service to the MFG Capital Markets Division.
Joining the firm for a 6-week tour of duty are Nina Chamberlain (front & center left) and John “JP” McCurdy (front & center right).
Nina is a US Army ROTC Cadet currently attending the USC Marshall School of Business (Class of ’26), and also serving as a cohort within USC’s Trojan Investing Society Leaders Program. Upon completing her MFG internship program, and prior to returning for her sophomore year at USC, Nina will be advancing her finance studies at the London School of Economics.
JP attended the University of Mississippi at Oxford, where he majored in economics, worked two years in the digital ad industry, and then transitioned to the United States Marine Corps, where he served four years as a Marine Logistics Officer with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit. JP’s service included an overseas deployment, during which he rose to the rank of Captain. Upon completing his USMC tour of duty, John attended the USC Marshall School of Business, where he acquired his MS in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and thereafter worked for two years within the AdTec sector. At the conclusion of his MFG internship, John will attend Vanderbilt University to attain his MBA towards pursuing a career in banking, with an eye towards specializing in M&A.
